Baker-Butler Elementary School
I was chosen from a group of artists to create a sculpture, co-construct an amphitheater, co-teach students about adobe construction, and guide them as they made brick and clay artifacts. Students then constructed a mound of their adobe bricks and artifacts around my work, "River of Stones," which is excavated annually and bit-by-bit by following classes as part of their archaeology curriculum.
Les Yeux du Monde Gallery
Since 2016, I have volunteered as an art installer at Les Yeux du Monde Gallery in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires technical precision, understanding and implementation of proportion, efficiency and collaboration in each of the gallery's bimonthly shows.
